Terrell Atwood is an artist residing in the beautiful horse country of Lexington, Kentucky. For the past 27 years she has been painting various commissioned works including murals, portraits,
and painted furniture for individuals, businesses and community projects. Terrell has worked with some of the most prestigious interior designers in the area and one may find her work in many of the historic homes amongst the famous horse farms surrounding central Kentucky. Terrell received a BA in studio art from Hollins University in Roanoke Va. She has furthered her education by studying with various artists, such as Susan Sarback, author of "Capturing Radiant Color in Oils" and founder of The School of Light and Color in Fair Oaks, California. Terrell studied gilding and decorative finishes at Loughcrew School of Gilding, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, Ireland under Emily Naper. Terrell recently completed courses in figure drawing and portrait painting at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.
